A family owned company Big G Trading Pty Ltd, was registered as the parent company in 1994 with trading names of Southern Vale Homes and Southern Vale Constructions.
The building licensee and principle Graham Searle has been a registered builder for domestic and commercial construction since 1986, when he recognized the need to provide quality residential new homes to consumers in the Victorian and NSW market place. Since this time Southern Vale Homes now concentrates primarily on specialized designed residential housing and is considered one of the main respected building companies throughout Albury, Wodonga, Shepparton, Bendigo, Echuca, Moama, Wangaratta, Yarrawonga, Wagga Wagga and surrounding areas.
The company prides themselves on the ongoing quality of workmanship and the delivery of safe and efficient construction methods. This is achieved by the implementation of Occupation Health & Safety training and environmental management
Understanding the huge commitment families take on when deciding to build their homes, the company and every staff member ensure the end product they expect to see when moving in to the home is achieved. During recent years this has been recognized having won several awards by the industry bodies such as HIA & Master Builders association of Victoria. Our commercial division Southern Vale Constructions was formed as part of our company growth plan in Victoria and Southern NSW and is considered to be the “Special Project” arm of Big G Trading Pty Ltd. This enables us to take on many projects including multiple dwelling developments plus House & Land packages.

Southern Vale Homes have their own in-house professional drafting staff that continues to create and implement new home designs which suit a wide range of families or investors, whether they be smaller type dwellings such as Town Houses, Terraces or the larger city or country style homes.
Having this service available, we are also able to design any individual needs to suit certain elevations, block sizes or customer requirements considered as a “One- Off”.

Our range reflects the varied needs and styles of our customers. But, we would never be so arrogant as to suggest that one of our plans will perfectly suit every single family.
That’s why we’re delighted to adapt, adjust, or completely redesign any of our plans to suit you and your family. If you prefer, we’ll even start from scratch, with a completely individual design.
